Something Special In The Air

10,000 feet, the little "bling" noise has sounded, and I'm free to turn the phone back on to blog. Okay, so when I said in the last post that we were packed in like sardines, I wasn't kidding (see picture). I was informed by the flight attendant that cameras are considered "electronic devices" and also need to be shut off for takeoff. So much for being able to shoot some takeoff pictures.

So what do you do when you've got nothing else to do? You browse through the Sky Mall magazine, of course. They have so much stuff in there that I had no idea existed or that I HAD to have. I was very excited to find a helmet-looking thing that restores your thinning hair with the use of lasers. Woo-hoo! Just what I've been looking for. I'm hoping to have Fabio-style locks this time next year. Don't know how it's supposed to work, but I imagine tiny little light-saber like swords that massage my follicles make to life.

Sorry for the rambling, but as I said, flights are pretty boring. I was concerned for Rob's sake for a while there when he kept repeating our sassy flight attendant's instructions about stowing our personal items. She's been fairly civil so far, but she also looks like she could grab an ear and escort you off the plane for having a smart mouth. I'll try to keep a low profile.

Current temp in Eagle River is 23 degrees. High tomorrow is now predicted to be 9. Yes, that's "9", as in single digits. Woo-hoo!
