Detroit layover

Our first leg of the trip went well. The plane left Charlotte on time, and we are now waiting in Detroit to board our flight to Wausau.

We ate lunch at Slap Shots, a bar in the airport. As you might expect with this bunch, the majority of the tab was for beer (Labatt tall boys).

We heard from Doug before we left Charlotte, and he was about to board his plane in Seattle, so we should be seeing him shortly in Wausau. Mac has already had too many memorable quotes to write down, but I'll try to add them later to the Holes website.
