Final Report On Friday's Games

Not the best record for us today. As I reported earlier, the over 30 team lost this morning. The over 40 guys didn't fare any better. Despite a valient effort, they came up lacking on firepower, and fell 15-4. 10 goals by Sure Wood in the first half was tough to recover from.

The over 30 guys laced up the skates again for a 2:30 showdown with the Park Place Perverts. Once again, we scored first, but fell behind as we started to scramble a bit. We played much better the second half, but just couldn't make up the three goal deficit we had from the first period. We lost 11-8. So close. So close.

With the two losses today, the over 30 team is pretty much done. The game tomorrow is for honor and glory. With a good showing tomorrow, the over 40 guys might (might) have a chance of playing on Sunday. You'll just have to stay tuned to see.

In the meantime, we are plannng on keeping Mac up all night to make sure he doesn't exhibit any concussion symptoms. He was viciously attacked by the net and took a good knock on his head. He's been applying cold compresses (okay they're actually beer). He's also adopted a Carbbean look for the hot tub this year, which compliments the Speedo perfectly. Discussions are underway regarding dinner plans, so we'll keep you posted.
